Bio

I was born and raised in Fitzgerald, Georgia, where I graduated high school in 2014. While in high school, I worked at the local veterinarians office, was an active FFA member and chapter officer, and I played football. After high school, I attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) where I earned my bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education. I have earned my Master's degree in Ag education from Murray State University and I am currently working on my Specialist degree from there as well. I began my teaching career in 2019 at Crisp County Middle School in Cordele, GA, where I taught for two years before becoming a Hornet. I began teaching at Cook Middle School in 2020. I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade agriculture in Cook County. I am passionate about teaching students the importance of and role agriculture plays in their daily lives. Outside of school, I enjoy fishing, hunting, and spending precious time with my family. I am looking forward to another great year at CMS.
