I was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and raised in Attleboro, Massachusetts. I graduated from Lanier County High School and entered the Navy. I spent the minimum time in the Navy and worked for numerous companies in the electrical/electronics field.

I have 5 kids with my other half ( sons: freshman in high school, 6th grade, 3rd grade/ daughters: kindergarten, not school age). My children participate in various extracurricular activities, including: band, baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, cheer, and dance. 

I obtained my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Western Governors University and my master's degree in middle-grade mathematics from Western Governors University. I am currently working on my certificate in educational technology with the plans to obtain my doctorate degree in educational technology from the University of Florida.

I am a family-oriented teacher and education is very important to me. I also understand the importance of the arts and sports in education. I am always available via email and remind. It's a great day to be a Hornet!
