I started teaching in Tennessee in 1987. I have been a teacher and coach continuously since that time. I have taught Science in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. Subjects have included Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Earth Science, Physical Science, including AP and IB versions. Sports coached include: Football, Boys and Girls Basketball, Boys and Girls Track, Wrestling, Golf, Baseball. I am currently working part time (retired) at Cook Middle School. I am married to Stephanie Patterson, and have 2 daughters, a stepson, and 5 grandchildren.
