Mrs. Wilkes attended Cook High School where she graduated as president of her class with a college preparatory diploma. She attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College as a dual enrollment student and graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in Political Science.  She later attended Valdosta State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in criminal justice.  She returned to VSU and completed her Master of Science Degree in criminal justice.  She delivered curriculum for the University of Georgia through the extension research division from 2005 until 2010.  She
